Watford equalised through Odion Ighalo on the stroke of half time.

Bournemouth made a lively start to match with Matt Ritchie and Glenn Murray linking up well in the early stages of the match.
In the 28th minute, Murray rose unmarked to head Bournemouth in front. Ritchie provided a brilliant cross and Murray’s header was out of the reach of Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes.
It was Murray’s first goal for Bournemouth and shows that the Cherries could come to rely on Murray just as they had done with Callum Wilson, who is now injured for the majority of the season.
Watford equalised just before half time courtesy of a terrible mistake from Bournemouth keeper Artur Boruc. The Polish keeper passed the ball straight to Odion Ighalo, who Read Bournemouth tipped as Watford’s key man in our preview, and he calmly slotted the ball home.
