Ibe Agrees Bournemouth Switch
AFC Bournemouth are on the verge of completing a club record signing as Jordan Ibe has agreed personal terms ahead of a £15 million move to Eddie Howe’s side.
If Ibe dpes join the South coast club, he would break the previous record of £9 million held by current striker Benik Afobe, when Howe snapped him up from Wolves in January.
The tricky winger signed a new deal on Merseyside last May, however last season he only featured 12 times for the Reds in the Premier League last year and is set to depart Anfield as Jürgen Klopp makes his mark on the club.
The 19 year-old has spent time on loan at the Championship previously, and was recalled from a season long loan at Derby in 2013-14 to help Brendan Rodgers’ side in the second half of the season.
He impressed under Rodgers, however looks set to depart the club to further his career with the Cherries.
