AFC Bournemouth are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan in January.
The Daily Mirror write that Loftus-Cheek has played just 119 minutes in the Premier League this season under Maurizio Sarri.
The 22-year-old featured regularly as England reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in the summer following an impressive loan spell across London with Crystal Palace.
However, his performances in Russia weren’t enough to make him a first-team regular at Stamford Bridge, with four of his nine appearances this campaign coming in the Europa League.
The midfielder has scored three times in that competition and came off the bench to score in the Blues’ 2-0 victory over West London rivals Fulham on Sunday.
Loftus-Cheek admitted that he is finding his lack of playing time ‘tough’, but insisted he is fully focused on Chelsea and not looking for a move.
Every player goes through tough times. From playing a lot to not playing a lot is tough. I have a good family and friends who help me when times are tough which is always good for me. Also, I am strong individually to know what I want in the future. I will always believe I will get to where I want if I keep my head down.
Palace, West Ham United, Newcastle United and German outfit Schalke are also said to be interested in the player.
